As a little boy I played hockey for hours on end, quitting only when it was too dark to see the puck. As the father of four boys I remember standing half frozen clutching a a crackling garden hose late into the night making an outdoor rink. Watching my son's play hockey all made it worthwhile; playing with or against them was even better. I loved it!
